It has been a long road to freedom! After being in the house and on lockdown since March 2020, it is safe to say we could all use a vacation. We are still safe and staying inside, so this post is strictly for the post-Corona era.
What’s on your travel bucket list? If you’re anything like us, then you know traveling is a motivator. Sitting at a bar, watching the sand between your toes can ultimately come to fruition if the trip is planned correctly. What better way than to kick off being “outside” than to travel to your most dreamt about places?
Here are the top 3 places that we are highlighting on the bucket list to travel to after Ms. Rona exits:
- Curacao, Netherlands
Why Curacao? Well, it is a Dutch Caribbean island located north of Venezuela. Known for its beautiful clear beaches, colorful and fun scenery, and former Aloe plantation, it is number one on the list! The shopping scene gives you a chance to enjoy the island’s day-to-day land and get to know the friendly people there. The island is hot but is accompanied by great winds for you to enjoy your vacation without it being overbearing. It’s a beautiful culture and makes it a staple on any list! Here you can take a spa day or enjoy some of the Curacao food and experience their famous mayo dipping sauce that is excellent even for those who aren’t fond of dipping their French fries in mayo. Overall you get to enjoy the islands and experience Dutch cuisine in one.
- Maui
Let’s talk about the ultimate paradise! Maui is the second-largest Hawaiian island known as “The Valley Isle.” They are known for their views of migrating humpback whales during the winter months in The Sacred Iao Valley. Activities such as farm tours, hiking trails, paddle boarding, and parasailing makes Maui a go-to destination when traveling! Also, you have the opportunity to be exposed to their cultural practices and arts, which is a plus.
- Tahiti
Located in the Pacific Ocean, Tahiti’s island may be small but has A LOT to offer! The island of French Polynesia is a tropical paradise! This experience is packed with cultural festivals, beautiful mountains, bays, and pretty blue lagoons. Here you can go canoeing or attend other water and land excursions, enjoying the nature of the land and the beautiful scenery on any of the 118 different Tahitian islands to explore, with over 500 tours to choose from.
I hope you all enjoyed this list; where will you be vacationing after we have safely moved past the pandemic?
